maan me, i bike a lot and dabble on the guitar. but even the latter is dwindling: i can't stick to much more than bikin and activism and the spanish langage --- those i adore.i more than adore my friends and fam. -- after my a new, angering experience on aug 31st, i felt more support than ever in a broad range of ways. the many folks who gave me that care are the kind of the folks i love.Humanity, plus the earth that supports it = preciousness.For the last year, I have been organizing hip hop shows with Yo! The Movement. Over the summer I began to work on a counter-recruitment pressure campaign with Youth Against War and Racism. Last winter I began to forge connections with FOR's Nonviolent Youth Collective, and began to co-facilitate counter recruitment gatherings with them this summer. I also just began to volunteer at Arise! bookstore, which a new joy for me.I am hoping to start writing more. After a good concert or poetry slam, I always begin to rant rhyming lines and I need to scribble more of those onto paper!!
