I was born in 1982 and I lived in my small town, Grassano (MT - Italy), until the first part of 2003. Since then I live in Verona.
At the age of 8 I saw the VHS that changed my life: Iron Maiden’s Live After Death.
In 1995 I formed my first music band known as "Ravens" and I started to play the guitar (thanks also to my dad, a music teacher) discovering the power of the six chords.
So, in the following two years we’re able to play in various pubs, clubs and manifestations.
We’re playing many covers of two of the best heavy metal bands of ’80-’90: Iron Maiden and Metallica.
One day in 1998, one of my school friends gave me a tape and told me to listen it.
Well, that album definitively changed and at same time forged my mode to conceive and compose music.
That album was Symphony of Enchanted Lands of the italian metal band Rhapsody (now Rhapsody of Fire).
Then, also the kind of music of our band changed slowly from classic metal to power epic metal and the band name was changed in "Arcane Tales", besides I became also the guitarist-singer of the band.In 2001 we recorded in Matera our first demo CD "Triumphant Steel" (with 4 our own songs, written by me), playing more times in our town and occasionally out of it, for example at Rock Off Challenge in Massafra (TA), where over a total of 100 bands, our position was 22nd.Unfortunately in 2002, after 7 years, the band ended to exist, because of various reasons. We've had good times, very nice years, but the Arcane Tales’ project will go on with me alone.As I told you before, in 2003 I left my town and came to live to north Italy, precisely in Verona.
I wrote new songs, developing the concept of the "Sapphire Stone Saga", written by me ( I’m also writing this story just like a real fantasy book!!!).In the first months of 2008 I joined to "Brainwave", a power/prog metal band of Verona, as singer, but this project had brief life.Besides, ever in the same year, I finished to work on another demo CD of the Arcane Tales’ project, "Into the Firestorm", with 8 new songs.In the first days of april 2009 a new demo, called "The Hangman Angel" and with 8 songs in pure epic symphonic style is ready!
