Nellovator is a danish rock-band formed by the Johnny Madsen bassplayer, Niels Nello Mogensen who also writes the songs.
The band released the album "Set It Free" in may -07 along with the local hit-singles "Land Of The Shooting Stars" and later "Your House".The songs are tuneful and the sound is positive, with lots of energy based on a classical rock-setup with two guitars in front. There is room and space for the classical guitar solo and "feel-good". Though it is difficult to classify the band, you can hear the influence from The Beatles, Grand Funk Railroad, Bryan Adams, Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters. Just to mention a few...It is all played with potent guitars, spacy keys, juicy bass, steady drums and clossed eyes/open minded vocals.
