Held in tandem with NTEC’s annual Environmental Conference, the Film Festival adds a new dimension to showcasing the issues, aspirations and innovations of global Indigenous communities in their charge to protect mother earth. NTEC is a national non-profit organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a membership of 184 tribes working to protect and preserve tribal environments. “I believe this international film festival will let the world know that Indigenous communities around the world are doing their part to protect mother earth for generations to come,†said Joe Garcia, President of the National Congress of American Indians.
