Three Chord Justice

What brought TCJ together in March 2008 was a love of the music they play and a desire to bring it to as many ears as will listen. Hailing from Missoula Montana singer/songwriter Liz Grace leads TCJ through a mix of country crafted originals and handpicked covers from the likes of Emmylou Harris, Hank Williams, Buck Owens and Patsy Cline. She got an early start singing in bars and honky-tonks, far before legal age, having to wait in alleys during band breaks.
The rest of TCJ is made up from some of the finest pickers and grinners from the SoCal country/alt country music scene including former members of Shoestring Strap, Married by Elvis, and Twangtown. Lap steel artist Brennan Buttah will put a tear in your beer but don’t blink 'cause guitarist/Tele blaster Jeff Houck might shoot it right out from under you. Drummer Mark Markowitz powers the engine room while bassist Andrew Lombard locks it in and wraps it up tight.
2008 was a great debut year for the band, playing gigs at Gator By the Bay, December Nights in Balboa Park, and performing with the Zac Brown Band. We hit some of the coolest bars in SD including Winston's, The Tiki, Cheers, and Brick by Brick. 2009 is looking fine as we plan on mucho more gigs and getting our tails in the studio.
