Cancer has touched my life and my family and friends for the past 23 years. I lost my mom when she was just 45 to breast cancer. I have battled skin cancer for 11 years. One of my best friends has been diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma, and its a different walk in this journey with every experience!
Cancer sucks.
I can only pray that one day soon there is a cure so that so many of us are no longer faced with these trials of the disease.
In the meantime support and education are some of the best tools available. And that is why I am making this page.
Like a beacon in the night, we are here to help each other... those touched by the monster disease of Cancer. Some of us have battled it, others have friends or family battling it, or know a hero who faught the battle and perhaps you walked the walk with them, until the final hours until the war was over.... Whatever your place in this part of life, you know the main thing is that a positive outlook, encouragement, and support are half the battle for the patient to have the power to face the demon with all their might.
Please feel free to post comments, encouragement, and support to each other on the page -
Remember, to the world you may be just one person...but to one person you may be the world!!
**** this is not a forum designed to replace medical advice, simply a place for those who have 'been there' and are willing to help others facing a dark and frightening journey, or those in the journey looking for support***
