L.A. Big Daddy’s

About Me

The L.A. Big Daddy’s perform Blues music for the Soul. The core members of the band have been performing together for over 30 years. When an earlier band broke-up, they began working with other recording artists. Working individually and collectively as sidemen, they have performed around the world with music legends such as L.T.D., Ronnie Laws, Bill Withers, Teena Marie, The Whispers, Sista Monica, Bob James, Loose Ends and many more.Richard ‘Daddy Rich’ Moorings (Vocals, Keyboards and Trombone), David E. Jackson (Drums) and Matthew Bragg (Bass) decided to do it for themselves after working for others for so long. Lead singer Moorings said “It’s good to get a call to work with someone else, but I’m excited about getting to go on the road with these guys again”.The L.A. Big Daddy’s recently recorded several tunes and that is how the debut EP titled “Put Some Meat on Them Strings” came about. The L.A. Big Daddy’s are looking forward to getting back into the studio and working on more original material and continuing to perform together.Take a moment and check out the L.A. Big Daddy’s.
