I am a transplant from New Jersey. Moved here 12 years ago, and have loved every minute I have been here. I may be a Yankee by birth, but am a southern at heart now.I love to do so many things, but when you do anything with someone else is when it makes it special. I don't do the bar scene to pick up guys. If I am in a bar it is with friends to have a drink. Love to go and listen to music, especially in small places, and concerts. Fall is made for watching football on the weekends -- college and pro. I love to go boating and fishing on the lakes around the area - Sinclair, Oconee and when I can Lanier. I love trying new restaurants with friends or a that certain someone. I am self sufficient and independent but only because I have been single for a couple of years. I guess divorce forces people to become indepent, but I would also like to have someone with me to compliment me not be responsible for my happiness. I can't describe the "perfect" person for me, but will know when I meet him.I have two incredible kids that take up a lot of my time, but they are also gone quite a bit too. That's when my time comes in. I spend a lot of time on their activities, but when they are gone I love my own time to share it with someone special. I like to think I am a great cook, and love to cook for someone who appreciates it. Trying new restaurants is fun, so I enjoy going out for dinner and just being spontaneous -- ride in the country, last minute get away for the weekend, or cuddling on the couch watching a movie. Staying at home talking with music playing and sharing a bottle of wine or a couple of beers is special too. Do any of you guys like to cook? Can someone share the kitchen with me?I have Italian blood and I can be fiesty when needed and purr when treated right. I love to travel, but time can be a factor. Relaxing on vacation is wonderful. I will do the tour things, but love to settle on a beach or on a hammock. I have a great network of friends and I love to socialize. If nothing is planned, I would think nothing of picking up and taking a ride or planning a dinner party/cookout at my house. Life is full of surprises and I would like to experience those surprises with someone. Care to share some of this with me?
