The AxeTones members have been playing the "Cafe" for several years, and will be hosting an acoustic show with a smattering of electric bass & guitar. UniversalAudioVideo.com will be video taping all night for broadcasting on YouTube & the internet!
We'll be organized and FAIR to all who attend. Bring your own guitar, or use ours! Amps, PA and percussion instruments will be provided. So leave the heavy stuff home. It will make it faster and more efficient if you use our gear.
The City Cafe is a small, clean, intimate spot with very friendly staff & management. The drink prices are very reasonable and there are specials every night.
We are hoping to attract the best Folk & Acoustic songwriters that RI has to offer! Electric guitars are welcome, but "absolutely" no metal, or hard rock. This Open Mic Night will be geared to lighter sounds and textures. Originals are welcomed and encouraged.
This will be an ongoing series at the "Cafe", and may be bi-monthly or monthly depending on the turnout.
