Anthony was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
To date, he has performed internationally on stage over 2000 times, including performances at Madison Square Garden and Le Bar Bat, New York; the Singapore Cricket Club; the Perth Superdrome (Australia); and various bars and clubs in Los Angeles.
Combined with live performances, Anthony has always been in high demand as a session guitarist and has performed on a considerable number of albums. His unique style of guitar playing earned him many accolades. He is the first choice as teacher and mentor and is known and recognised for his virtuoso guitar playing and his complete ease with the instrument. It would seem that the guitar is merely an extension of his personality - sometimes quirky, sometimes serious, but always unpredictable and emotive.
Anthony has always been at home in the studio and has earned himself a considerable reputation as the consummate producer. His solid musical and technical foundation combined with his ability to work in almost any genre makes his arrangements exciting and fresh. He is well versed in a variety of remote styles such as symphonic orchestral music, heavy metal, avant-garde and jazz/blues. He has composed for the big and small screen as well as producing pop/rock albums. He has worked for many clients including Oscar/BAFTA nominated director, Peter Templeman, Sony Music Australia, MGM Distribution, Shock Records, EMI Canada and Michael White from the Thompson Twins.
Anthony has been fortunate to work with and record such diverse artists as the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, jazz legends James Morrison and Danny Moss; Canadian rocker, Jeff Martin (Tea Party); renowned pianist, Ross Bolleter; pop songstress, Julie Kember; Eddie Parisi and Frank Celenza (Baby Animals); Bob Evans (Jebediah); WAMI award winner, Nathan Gaunt, and Perth jazz groups Void and Speedball. Anthony has also worked with producers Larry Anschell - Canada (Nickleback, Pearl Jam) Jeromy Allom - London (Massive Attack, David Bowie) and Ian Pritchard - Sydney (Angus and Julia Stone).
