It all started with an internet campaign and a poem to Radio 1 DJ / Bestival head honcho Rob Da Bank. It was meant to be a joke. But now it's serious. DJ Hojo Hits was created for the single purpose of bringing the music of 80's parrot haired spiked hair pop star Howard Jones to the Bestival Festival. But now things have got out of hand. DJ Hojo Hits is being booked for other events. He is even threatening to play other music besides Howard Jones at some of these. Be scared. Be very scared.In 2009 expect to see DJ Hojo Hits cropping up in various venues, sometimes on his own, playing tunes guaranteed to put a smile on your face, and sometimes as part of a collective providing unique and unusual DJ happenings. With virtually no Howard Jones being played.Yes you read that right.Virtually no Hojo for DJ Hojo, who has got his mojo.
