The reason people call me Killa is not becuz Im some kind of murderer or did nething to hurt somebody. But simply becuz I KILL any beat anybody throws at me. So therefore I am Killa. I been doing this music thing for awhile now actually.All the way back to middle school, I was in chorus. Then on to Tyrone Area High School, I eventually was invited to a special group known as vocal attraction. But not only that, you see I was performing at YMCA dances and had shows so none of it was new to me.You see back then I was young and was a singer so I always had an ear for music and the way it should sound.It wasnt till I got older that I found my real passion as a poet, writing almost daily. I was about 17 when I finally put the 2 together and wrote my first song.Where I was when I began to write music was far from a hip-hop 'spot'. Back woods, Florahome,Fl. ,where theres sand roads instead of dirt, is where it began for me. I had no stereo, no cd's, no rap music watsoever. I was going through a very tough time with my mother and her drinking problem and I noticed a great change in my state of mind. I wrote a whole notebook of songs acapella. Im not going to get into great detail about it but it lead to my first song intitled "The Mirror". It was an automatic favorite. I knew the gift I had and I finally knew what I wanted to do. After "The Mirror" I wrote many more songs. After that I moved to Fort Myers and hooked back up with my brother, Ju-Ice, and he put together a lil squad called TTC (Tru Thugz Corp.). We dropped our first mixtape in 2007. Right now Im working on some solo tracks for a lil mixtape Ima dish out here coming soon. But until then, enjoy the samples I provided on this page.
