Ashish Vyas (bassist) is a founding member of influential, underground post-punk outfit GoGoGo Airheart (1996–2006) which released five records, several EP’s and Singles on the legendary Gold Standard Labs record label (GSL Records, co-owned by Omar Rodriguez of The Mars Volta). He toured the US, Canada, and Europe throughout GoGoGo Airheart’s career.
Since 2004, he’s been touring all over the world with production duo, Thievery Corporation and is featured on several tracks from the recent "Radio Retaliation" release (ESL Records). As of 2008, he has toured the USA with ESL artists Federico Aubele and Natalia Clavier (also playing bass on her 2 albums).
In addition, Ashish Vyas has been involved in the Washington, DC music scene with performing project The Black and Tan Fantasy Band and occasionally, playing with ESL wednesday night reggae, funk, house band SEE-I!
