I realized the other day that like a lot of people I have been to caught up in the past and how things used to be. Depressing myself over how I wanted life to turn out and pouting around because it didn't. I admitedly havn't been taking the best care of myself lately. I've been drowning in self pitty and acting like everything is just fine. I've decided today that I will not do that any longer. I will pick myself up and get out and do things. No more sitting on the couch all day wishing some activity or adventure would come knocking on my door. I will take better care of myself. I need to quit smoking for one. I said to someone the other day that I would rather die living than live dying, I think it's time to take myself up on that. I'm tired of just exsisting, it's time to live.

Congenital heart defects are the number are the most common birth defect in America. More babies are born with a CHD than any other birth defect there is. Sadly research for this defect is one of the least funded and least understood. More babies will die from this than anything else. Lets help these babies have a fighting chance.
