About Me

My name is Trina, I am 24 years old and I live in Fort Worth, TX with my husband, Tim and my two sons Zachary and Keegan. I teach first grade in a local school district. I have wonderful friends both online and in real life. I am really blessed. Besides all that I really have no life, because frankly there just isn't time! But I always have time for both old and new friends!

My Interests

I love kids.. I have 2 of my own and a classroom full of first graders... kids occupy the majority of my time. I also love spending time with friends.. both online and in real life.. and of course being with my wonderful hubby Tim.

Keegan was also born with an ASD heart defect. His cardiologist said his heart is good and strong right now. For all the medical issues, he is one happy little boy and we couldn't love him any more! Keep us in your prayers as we prepare for Keegan's next surgery on November 22.

The President.. LOL.. not really.. I am not really sure of anyone famous... However, I am a member on an online Mom's Group of about 50 women. We've been online friends for over 2 years and I would love to meet them in person.

Music:

I will listen to anything, but really I am a country girl at heart.. although I hear alot of "Elmo's Favorite Songs" lately!

I have been really into Rascal Flatts lately.

Movies:

Bring on the Chick Flicks! But I am always a sucker for Drama and Comedies. My two all time favorites are Dirty Dancing and The American President. Look at added a Dirty Dancing Video clip! The Best Part of the Whole Move! Too bad i don't know how to place in right here.. so look to the right!

Television:

I really don't have time for much but there are a few shows I hate to miss.. Thank Goodness for TIVO! CSI:Miami, Close to Home, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, American Idol,...

oh and I confess.. I watch the soap opera One Life to Live religiously. Maybe that is why my views of life are so skewed... cause life isn't a Soap Opera!

Books:

I finally have time to read for pleasure. I am really enjoying the teenage series The Princess Diaries. I am on Book 5 and still loving them. I also recently read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.. wonderful wonderful love story. I have a feeling Nicholas Sparks will be my new favorite author. I think I will read his book The Wedding next! Note: I did read The Wedding and it was better than the notebook.. it was amazing. This man can sure write love stories. I can't wait to get my hands on another!
