About Me

Some of the pictures here are of me in Costa Rica--I am much less tan and much less covered in birds in real life. I was born in Davis CA, lived there until I was about 14 and then moved to Ben Lomond CA, which is right next to Santa Cruz. I just graduated from UCSC this summer, with a bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (no, it's not as intense as it sounds), and I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life now, but I'm told that's normal. My favorite things to do are reading and hanging out with friends and other such things.
You Are Not Scary
Everyone loves you. Isn't that sweet? How Scary Are You?
You Are Incredibly Logical
Move over Spock - you're the new master of logic
You think rationally, clearly, and quickly.
A seasoned problem solver, your mind is like a computer! How Logical Are You?

My Interests

I read........a lot, play simple yet entertaining video games, hang out with buddies, stuff like that.
You scored as Michaelangelo. You have fun in life, but sometimes you goof around so much that its hard to take you seriously. But your good sense of humor and ability to lighten things up are good qualities to have!

The eSPIN Personality Test

MY RESULT: Cucumber

You know - as in "cool as a cucumber." Because there's no cooler vegetable than you.

You've got a great attitude going on - friendly, laid-back, open to new experiences. Anyone should want to hang out with you, and if they don't - well, that's their problem, not yours. Just let it roll off your back. We're pretty sure you do that anyway.

Don't be afraid to show a little attitude every once in a while - it's cool being cool, but it's also pretty nice to get your way and influence the people around you. A little bit. We wouldn't want you to lose your cucumber-ness.

What Animal Are You?

MY RESULT: Llama

A lot of people don’t realize this, but llamas are the coolest animals on the planet. They are totally laid back, they have stylish hairdo’s, and they’ve got good attitudes towards all creatures, big and small. They’re like the “awesome next door neighbors” of the animal kingdom.

You’re a llama! Be happy, be proud. Then go out and spread the word that there’s nothing cooler than a llama. The world has got to know the truth.

Television:

i'm going to list some things that aren't on TV anymore because i still think they're cool.............CARTOONS: old Warner Brothers cartoons (back when Bugs and Daffy were funny), Fairly Oddparents (which is surprisingly good), Angry Beavers, Mighty Max, Darkwing Duck, Tailspin, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Duck Tales, The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, The Oblongs, AAAAAHH! Real Monsters, old school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.................. DRAMAS: Law and Order, House, The Closer (which i watch sporadically but enjoy every time), M*A*S*H*.................. COMEDIES: i liked News Radio when it was on, Kids in the Hall, Saturday Night Live when it was funny (which was about 15 years ago at this point), Seinfeld, That 70's Show in the beginning before all the kids got old and weird looking..................... ANIME: Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Samurai Champloo, Berserk (for what it was worth, though it would have been much better if they had, you know, put in an ending), most of Neon Genesis Evangelion (at least the parts i understood)................. KIDDIE SHOWS: The Muppet Show (the old one--NOT Muppets Tonight, which sucked!), Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Bill Nye the Science Guy.................. MISCELLANEOUS: Northern Exposure, Robot Chicken, Mythbusters, Wild America, most of what's on the Discovery and National Geographic channels, star trek, in all of it's forms except enterprise--i don't know what they were thinking there

Books:

Stephen King--most notably the Dark Tower series (which is HUGELY epic. seriously dudes, just read it), Harry Potter (I'm not a psycho ok? I just like the books, and I contend that there's nothing wrong with that), what Clive Barker has written so far in the Abarat series, Christopher Moore, anything cool and science-fictiony/fantasy-y.......basically reading is what I like to do the most so I'm always on the lookout for new books. If you've got any suggestions for a good read I'd love to hear them.
