My name is Mina.
I SING.
I am one half of the band PENDULUX and am astounded at the speed of light with which we create, and the calibur of the material produced. Previous projects I have fronted (and there are many) provided me with the ability to define the bubbles I was being ushered into, and therefore helped me prepare for what will eventually define my life's musical work.
I'm engaged to my first "true love", whom I kept near-missing for almost five years. He redefines the word Love to me every waking hour. He makes me want to be better, while tirelessly reminding me that I AM good enough, that I AM the woman I longed to be. For me, within his eyes lies the utmost peace & joy that every being in existance hopes to find, if only for a moment, in their time here on earth. So, in laymen's terms, I'm crazy about the guy.
...Not so crazy about this "existing on earth" thing, though. Pretty sure I could do without it. ...Pretty sure I'm an alien, actually.
I recently moved from Montrose to Katy, and am rather enjoying how people *leave me fucking be* in suburbia.
I'm a Junior and full-time student at The University of Houston. I might graduate someday. That would be sorta neat at this point.
I write poetry & short-stories.
I'm a makeup artist, costume designer, seamstress, and model-coach. I own and operate CERULEAN STUDIOS which is currently in it's infancy.
I'm writing a novel. verrrrrry slowlyyyyyyy.
I like tea, cheese, wine, sushi, Indian food, and mine and my fiancé's pseudo-vegetarian lifestyle... I scoff at the so-called Chinese food served in the states 'cause I can make it far fucking better. (there is no such thing as "duck sauce", or rather, "corn-syrup-dyed-orange" in China!!) ...I can cook better than your mom. Seriously. Your mom would be beg me for recipes. I would say "no", of course, but you get the idea.
My "son", Chaucer Lestat Reyna, or "Chaucey", is the most emotionally-intelligent, spoiled, non-human individual you will ever meet.
I avoid the sun like the plague. I will also never have wrinkles.
I love to read (books. really. not just Maxim.)
I am currently involved in a love affair with Anne Rice's Vampiric Sexpot Buffet, and yes, I am aware that she finished The Vampire Chronicles quite some time ago, and yes, I intend on reading them over and over again until I can recite them from memory or something else equally trekkie-esque and ridiculous.
I'm tired of typing now.
