An entertainer at birth, I had no other choice but to follow that path. I have been performing music since the age of 10, when I started playing guitar. Numerous instruments and some odd years later, I started DJing. DJing started out as a temporary fix until I found a band to play with. It also started out as a part-time gig! Well, those of you who know me, know that 13 years later, I'm still at it; bigger and better than ever. After many years working for a mobile company and doing some club work, I started my own business. My business started with a crazy new mobile DJ concept I had: taking crowd-interactive Spring Break antics & contests, and combining them with non-stop party music. Well, it worked! In 2001, "The Bad Boys of Late Night" were born. After much local success over the next two years, I decided to upgrade the show and change the name to what it is today: "THE BAD BOYS 2".The parent company of "The Bad Boys 2" is J.D. Kipp Entertainment & Promotions; officially taking title in 2005. This is my overall business that offers an extensive array of entertainment and marketing options for any type of event. Current entertainment offerings are: J.D. Kipp Entertainment, "The Bad Boys 2", and J.D. Kipp & his All-Star Big Band.My newest goal is to master the art of MixMaster Club DJing. I have only dabbled in this arena lightly over the years while mastering mobile DJ work & MCing. So I am continually expanding my knowledge and playing with the latest technology.
