For the past three years Dempsey has been playing drums and singing lead in the Charlotte based group "III" His tenure with the band has provided confidence, contacts and accolades: most notably, Dempsey was awarded "Best Male Vocalist" 2007 by the readers of Elevate Magazine! Now he is branching out in a new direction. 15 original tunes written by Dempsey will be released in the summer of 2009! The album is titled "Rebirth of the Cool" and features the tracks, "2AM" , "A Ride Divine" & "You're Gone" !
