But it is with a humble heart that Paul's Journey (formerly The Relations Quartet) presents a program, over 230 days a year nationwide, that is not only entertaining but uplifting to the soul.
Rod Treme, owner and founding member explains. "This full-time ministry started over 31 years ago with four young men all related to one another, hence the name 'Relations Quartet'. Many faces have come and gone, but our mission has remained the same through all of these years; to continue on the journey that apostle Paul began many years ago."While most of the concert dates are fulfilled in churches, Paul's Journey is no stranger to many prestigious auditorium and theater stages, as well as state and county fairs throughout the U.S. Called on regularly, Paul's Journey has had the privilege of opening both Christian and secular events with their stirring rendition of the National Anthem.During their tenure as The Relations Quartet, they were awarded "Male Quartet of the Year" at the 2007 SGM FanFair in Chattanooga, TN and nominated in the top five in 2008. They received a nod from the Diamond Award's for "Group of the Year" in 2004 and "Video of the Year" in 2008. And various awards from the STGMA in 2001, 2004 and 2007. Radio has also embraced TRQ with appearances on Paul Heil's Gospel Greats and Solid Gospel Radio. The group has garnered many top 80 hits including their current single, "When The Morning Breaks". Other charting songs include "Soul Business" (SN top 40) and "The Spirit Will Come Down". A brand new song titled "Lead Me To the Rock" will ship to radio in August of 2008.Even with all of the awards, accolades and recordings to their credit.
