Welcome to the Official Envy Myspace!
The industry is overloaded with unsigned girl groups, so what exactly makes Envy different from the rest of the competition?
Well firstly welcome Kellie Allen, Faye Tunstall and Laura Skuse the girls that make Envy sparkle! Talented, creative and each gifted with incredible vocal and dance ability, these three girls will make you knees tremble with excitement at the very first moment.
The Envy girls have been in development for three years, co-producing and songwriting with Jealous Productions on an album’s worth of material ready to blast the nation with their original urban take on today’s Pop scene.
Envy has created a nice big Buzzzzzz around the nation about their vibe. Most recently the girls were chosen out of several hundred acts to perform in the Hugo Urban Rules show featured on MTV, MTV Base and TMF throughout two months in early 2008. Since the show they have gone on to win radio airplay on the Fresh 40 Show sponsored by Hugo Fragrances and featured nationally on Kiss Fm, Galaxy Fm and more! They were also filmed in a special “fly-on-the-wall†documentary for Red TV on Sky, following the girls as they rehearsed, recorded and performed in a typical week.
In the not too distant past these three ladies have shared the same stage at the huge Bristol Balloon Fiesta twice with big artists such as Girls Aloud, Lee Ryan, Liberty X, Jo O’Meara (S Club) and Simon Webb.
They have supported big X Factor names Same Difference, Ray Quinn and Ben Mills and earlier this year toured the Butlins resorts with Chico.
Envy has also toured on the Butlins Breaking Acts Tours 2007 & 2008 and on the Butlins Pop Tour 2008.
Other artists Envy has supported on stage include Chesney Hawkes, Eton Road, The Cheeky Girls, Laid Blak, Bucks Fizz, and Kavana.
Envy has toured nationwide and has built up a loyal fan base on this MySpace page and on their Official Forum & Website. The fans are an essential part in the girls’ success and as long as they continue to perform live on stage the fan base will grow stronger and stronger.
Watch out for ENVY in 2008!
