The Repair Company

The Repair Company is a new band made up of some of Minneapolis’ finest young musicians. The group is the brainchild of Aaron Ollswang and the current lineup and set list have been in the works for the last two years. Their blend and masterful command of roots, blues, soul, funk, r&b, and southern rock make for a sound that is both immediately different and identifiable.On his downtime between tours with Shannon Curfman, Ollswang cut a few demos of material he’d been working on for years in his project studio at home and presented them to some of the his favorite players in town. Everyone was in from the get-go! The band includes Dan Ristrom (of Dan Ristrom’s Big Throwdown, The Nathan Miller Band, and Buckets and Tap) on bass and vocals; Cornell Blanchard (of The Root City Band, City Collective) on piano and vocals; Peter Elledge (of Root City Band, Buckets and Tap, and the Nathan Miller band) on drums; and relative new-comer Brian Palay on guitar and vocals.After a couple months of rehearsals, The Repair Co. is finally bringing their sound to the masses! Be on the lookout for this band to team up with some of the most well-known local acts to showcase all their talents in the upcoming months!
