Birth
"The Diskonected" born when Frank quit The Uncivilized and Trash Rats to create his own project and concentrate all his energy on ONE band. Looking for musicians, he took Jon on bass who's lookin for playing in a band for a while and Freak (lead guitar) who's quit Trash Rats after his death. So Jon & Freak quit the Cover Band project for the Diskonected (who had no name at this time). Garceau was taken for Riddm guitar even if he wont play for 10 years, motivation from his part do the difference. Two drummers was on the list (Smarties and Rat) but the idea came from every one to start a non-side-band, thing rare in montreal punk scene. So Rat (ex-Inepsy bassist) was taken on drums. The name was proposed by Frank and accepted by everyone (extremely fit with the energy made by the members and the concept of the group). So this is actually the line up in the band. We start to make a couple local shows (at LARSENAL and the CAFE CHAOS) with Brutal Knights, and the Vibrators (UK)... We are actually working on a 5 songs 7" for november 2006. .
