For the last ten years The Renegade Band has been the house band at The Music Ranch outside Lakeland,Florida.(www.musicranch.org)
Playing a blend of Southern Rock with a touch of Blues and Classic Rock thrown in,the band has been well received over the years.Their original material explores Southern Rock through different avenues within the time honored genre.From the mellow strains of "Another Woman" and "Things That You Do" to the powerhouse beats of "Late Nights and Rock n’ Roll" and "Risky Business" The Renegade Band delivers again and again.
The band has been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest stars in the music business.Shows with Superstar Leon Russell,Vince Welnick of The Grateful Dead( and 80’s supergroup The Tubes). The Ghostriders featuring Ex-Outlaws guitar slinger Steve Grisham,Barry Rapp from The Henry Paul Band,and Jimmy Gunn of Brooks & Dunn fame.
Other groups the band has enjoyed working with include The Sean Chambers Band,The Damon Fowler Group,Devon Allman’s Honeytribe,Sarasota Slim,and Buck Cannon’s awesome Roy Buchanan tribute.
