About Me

A division of Expressillon; Dub Technic was started in 2000 for the more electro dub beats. The idea behind the label was to provide artists an alternative platform to release their down tempo sonorous experiences.
Dub Technic signed his birth certificate via three first ep’s and two cd albums by improvisation master 69db followed by widely known in France electro dub bands General Dub, Lab° and Brain Damage, before slowing down for a while. In 2008 we saw fit to reactivate the label to give up and coming talent a platform to the Dubstep scene.
Just like the permanent boiling Italian alternative scene, Antihifi is an eccentric composer from Roma multiplying the artistic initiatives. After a remarkable first appearance in 2004 with his breakbeat & techno orientated project cUPo, he pays a second visit to Expressillon but this time on Dub Technic for a devastating dubstep 4 tracker.
Dark moody music, sparse rhythms, propelled by a constant, almost omnipresent sub bass are the components of side A, taking the on-line rhythmic evidences of test card to by-pass them better, for a maximum dancefloor efficiency. ‘Electric Lazy’ and ‘We are in the Future’ take on a more melodic delicious side ending by a cry from the heart to whom it may concern: ‘Let me be your secret lover…’.
Escape into the rhythm of your mind and bring the beat to life !
