Double U was born in wythenshawe hospital on the 25th september 1988. As a child growing up he always loved
music from genre to genre,back in the day he would donn the tracksuits and do a bobby brown.
As he grew older he grew even fonder to the sound of music so when he was 13 he started writing ragz bars down and poems.
With the music being hard for Double U to focus on he decided to leave writing untill one day sat in music he had made himself a beat.
With him being impressed with his beat he decided to write to it and never got round to lacing it.
Once again he decided to leave music to focus on life.2005When Double U started college he met a guy called ryan lehane (mc lehane) who he formed a movement with.
They called themselves DZK(dangerzone kru). They got a good response from all over the place but eventualy after to much waste talk they seperated which meant Double U had to decide if he wanted to stay in music or leave it again.
He decided to stay on music and got his mates into the scene, formed a crew called vip and they got known within there local area but there tracks wernt to brilliant quality.2006This is where Double U faced the biggest challenge of his young life. aged 17 he found out his girlfrind at the time was pregnant.
This made doube leave the music for a while as he knew he needed to support his family and music wasnt going to do that.
As the months passed Double felt an eager to get back writing there was something he needed to get onto the pen and paper.
He stared making himself a name and realised music was something he could progress with, so he started paying for studio (with the help of invincible) and got together a mixed cd which he planned on selling.
Things started to dwindle in music as the arrival of Aiken-Harvey Brown-Williams was looming around the corner so Double U took time out to be with his baby and his missus.2007This is the year Double U really made a mark on the music scene.
He released his mix cd 'eyes on you' which got him some links.
He had now got involved with another mc of his stature and they decided to form a new crew which would be known as Unique Mindz Entertainment.
The crew consisted of Double U, Skeemo and Sparx.
They pushed hard in this year even with Double U and Skeemo being fathers. The year passed with the music getting nowhere realli but the team stayed strong and pushed themselves to the bone.2008To this present day Double U has thrived on the development of his forth coming mixtape 'Shadows Have Passed'.
Skeemo got a studio and the team would gather up every weekend and record tracks and promote straight away.
Unique Mindz is expanding with the new faces of Essential and Ellouise a singer who Double U has known a very long time.
Shows came up and UME done there thing.
