About Me

A creative little bugger (well, I don't really know what I want to be WHEN I grow up, so I do a little of everything, usually all at the same time!), I've done a lot ... mostly for fun, not profit; film work (writing, shooting, editing, sound design, visual FX design, even acting!), make-up work, graphic design, T-shirt design, audio work (live sound recording, audio mixing and engineering), art (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc). No longer working in the industry (knew it was a temporary assignment), but still doing it as therapy. Have a new job (working for a very large rail system in Melbourne) which I love, even though the hours can be a bit much at times! "If I haven't been successful in everything I've done, it certainly doesn't mean I haven't tried!"Happily, seriously, attached now in life ... to the bottle (and I don't give a rat's about it), and I still have my coterie of close-knit friends (and they mean a great deal to me these days!), and they keep me sane - or insane, as the case may be ... provided they aren't German or American, as I have had problems with them in the past (my problem, not theirs!).

I'd like to meet:

Sadly, most of the people I always wanted to meet are gone now, but I find that people who are creative and genuine are the types who get (and hold) my attention; musicians, composers, writers, filmmakers (with the exception of actors. They're a little too flaky for my liking! I should know, as I've done it in the past ... and I'm as flaky as they come!), even if they're 'undiscovered' or strictly non-professional (in terms of not being able to make a living at what they do well, but just do it because it's something they love!).I'm happy to meet and chat with anyone creative ...
