Born in 1969, Walter Sharp-eared Waltrapa's always been under blues spell. Since he unconsciously met first guitar heros at his old big bros music store at home in Girona (5,000 milles from Austin -TX-), he would never get out of that way. Pretty several local bands he joined with (Suburbi 69, Set Jam, Malastruc, Flirtin' Peyotes, El Gallo que no Cesa,...), trying to learn how to draw his favourite guitar licks and trying how to deal with all kind of rythms.
Anyway he proudly remembers all friends he played with from middle 80's till now: Jordi Gimbernat, Tomy Hereu, Xevi Moré (always on my mind!), Jordi Negre, Marquès bros, Joan Solà , Paco Ortega, Pau Cardona (God bless you, my dear friend!), Frank Figueras, Jaume Lladó, Txema RodrÃguez, Miquelet Brugués, Sisu Argüelles, Boby Perú, Yeins Pichurri, Sully Tulores, Fernando Omar Al del-Kaleb, Jack Canon, Pearl McCañas, Ewu, Josemanuel, Óscar... and many others we mistreated a number of stages!
After a 7 years stop, Walter Waltrapa is back on the road again with a power Texas blues band called LOS FABULOSOS TEXASTONES. This time with new friends: Ugly Bad Ray on lead vocals & guitar, Big Villano on drums and Pony-Boy on stand bass & electric bass.The band began his walk on 28th February, 2008 and it's already on the road.
