I was lucky enough travel alot when i was growing up and went to such places as The Bahamas, Florida. Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, Dubai and South Africa. One incident that particularly stands out was during a visit to Disney World at 8 years old. Picture the scene. I was minding my own business when Mickey Mouse came over and started banging on about how great his Magic Kingdom was. I told the "mouse" in no uncertain terms that he did not own any of it and was an overrated spoilt brat! Mick just flipped and FIGHTING ENSUED! The scuffle was quickly intervined by Donald Duck and Goofy who themselves managed to throw in a couple of cheap shots. They then proceeded to frog-march me out of the main entrance not without me managing to get a few shouts in at Mickey (while he was dusting himself down) that Mini Mouse was a slag! and also F**K DISNEY!
During my teens my musical influences leaned more towards the rock scene. Ian and Mike from Lostprophets lived in the same street so we grew up listening to similar kinds of music. We all started skateboarding together at that time which is how i met Jamie Oliver, another member of the band and my other friends who are all now conversed in the myspace concept. Most of us went to Hawthorn High School where we were constantly made to feel sick by the awful colour of our uniforms. Dont ask what colour, i'll throw up again! School was cool and two memorable moments spring to mind. The Bosnian war criminal haircut i gave myself which my proud mother said "spoilt Christmas" and almost having my prefect status taken off me for setting off the school fire alarm during summer exams whilst executing the perfect indoor tennis serve. Class!
My parents were keen sports enthusiasts and i followed suit which led to me being involved in alot of sport. Tennis, Smashing Tennis raquets, Rugby, Ice Hockey, Skiing, Snowboarding and Soccer where i represented my country were mostly where my sporting interests lay. I went on to study at one of the top sporting universities in the United Kingdom, U.W.I.C. (University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Became a P.E. Teacher afer college, and combine that with tennis coaching. I also play semi-pro soccer for Ton Pentre. I sometimes model surfshorts etc in my summer hols and play the guitar which brings me to the present.
