KENNER’S FREE FRIDAY CONCERTS START FOURTH BIG YEAR
THE BANDS ARE BACK, SO COME OUT AND HAVE A GREAT TIME
That’s right.
The free Music in the Park Concerts at Heritage Park in Kenner’s Rivertown will run till the music is gone.
The park is located next to 303 Williams
Boulevard. The bands will all perform on the back porch stage of the Kenner Produce Co. warehouse on the park grounds, nestled among colorful early 20th Century buildings like a gas station, blacksmith shop, hardware store and a stable. The 2009 Music in the Park series begins at 6:30 p.m.
The free concerts offer a good night’s entertainment in a picturesque historical setting that is comfortable and safe.
food and beverages will be offered for sale by local nonprofits and vendors.
