About Me

The love of crafting was first instilled in me when I was a young child in upstate New York. I remember on those early summer mornings my grandmother would wake me up, and we'd spend all day drifting in and out of yard sales. Such treasures were to be found! Always on the look out for the next big craft project, she'd fill an entire spare bedroom with the spare parts needed to create masterpiece after masterpiece, at least in a child's eyes.
I'd sit across from her staring intently as she made an air freshener out of an orange and cloves; or a key chain out of found bird feathers. I quickly took the reigns and began exploring my own mediums. I'd knit hats, crochet baby blankets, even produce a few handmade dream catchers.
As I grew older, I started to lose the love of crafting.
Until 2007, when my younger brother had a run in with cancer. On his off days after chemo treatments, we'd spend all afternoon sitting in bed knitting. He'd pick up his loom, and have a scarf done in a few days. It was a way for him to relax and take his mind off from things. While his cancer went into remission, and he no longer enjoys knitting with his big sister, I've rekindled my love for the art of crafting.
I specialize in handmade crafts to capture the imagination and creativity of individuals. Just because you buy handmade doesn't mean it has to be boring! I believe everything should have a flare of creativity thrown into the mix.
I do custom orders, and am always happy to create something special for you or a loved one.
Aside from crafting, I'm a photographer and a painter.
