WHO R WE???
The Young Filipino American Modern Dancers of Virginia formed in 2005 by Crs and Tricia Orpilla.
YFAMD an exclusive hip-hop entertainment troupe showcase their diverse and cultural dance techniques with their own unique choreography. “Dancing with a cultural twist.” YFAMD has not just made a name in the Filipino community but for the greater Hampton Roads Area.
They have competed, performed and opened up for many big names including the Jonas Brothers at The Move it to Music Expo. The group has traveled to New York and met Dr. Roxanne Shante the First Lady MC of Hip-HOP.
YFAMD also had the opportunity on June 21st to hang out with The Jabbawockeez from MTVS Americas Best Dance Crew. Frequently traveling up and down the east coast this summer. The children's ages range from 7-and to college and up.
