The mission of the Hands Together In Flatrock Music & Arts Festival is to provide a family oriented one day festival that reaches out to both the older residents of Flatrock as well as the new immigrant families to encourage interaction, greater understanding, and tolerance among the residents of Flatrock. This festival will showcase the unique cultural mix, as well as the history of the neighborhood, to the greater Nashville area through a diverse mix of music, arts, and food.

In an effort to encourage interaction, greater understanding and tolerance among the older residents and the new immigrant families of Flatrock, members of the Flatrock community have come together to present a one day, family oriented festival. The Hands Together in Flatrock 2nd Annual Music and Arts Festival will feature a unique mix of music, classic car show, arts and cuisine ˆ all of which have been selected with the intent to represent the rich, cultural diversity of the Flatrock community.
The Hands Together In Flatrock Music and Arts Festival focuses on the specific community of Flatrock and promotes interaction, greater understanding and tolerance among the residents of Flatrock, the idea and the message behind the festival has already reached beyond this unique, culturally diverse community into the greater Nashville area.
