About Me

I.... am friendly, opinionated, compassionate, play well with others, love making music, am (proudly) Canadian (and subsequently, spell almost everything with the extra "u" if it's an option...see above), am a 4-time marathon runner, am a good secret-keeper, have a problem with grown men on little kids' bikes, have a sometimes quirky sense of humour, work in HR handling all things relating to personnel, immigrations permits, visas and greencards, have developed a love affair with martinis (the dirtier, the better!), love to laugh 'til my face hurts, sometimes end up snorting when I laugh too hard, love kids, hate clowns, love to see people smile, love to smile myself, will give you an honest answer (so if you don't REALLY want to know, don't ask me!), try to be a the kind of friend I would like to have myself, am a romantic, am short (don't be fooled by my small stature: I may be little, but I'm scrappy!!), often feel bullet-proof and ten feet tall, I am strong, I am invincible (I am woman, hear me roar!), am nobody's fool, am not you.

music--singing and playing guitar, distance running, cooking (although i must say i make a mean take-out!), reading, Kung Fu, people/things that make me laugh, people who are real.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow Mischief-makers and my Grandfather--Everyone always called him "Uncle Walter" ...I want to ask him what that's all about and if there is cause for alarm.... I think he very well may qualify as the ultimate mischief-maker!
