About Me

What is The Hey Peets about...Fuck, that ain't a short answer but we'll do our best. The Hey Peets are two best of friends who have played music together since 2000 when we played in a band called Same Difference. Once that band split we tried our hand at doing our own thing and wrote a few very cool, experimental tunes that captured where we were at that point...two inexperienced yet talented musicians. As we've grown older, gained experience, and dealt with many more challenges in life our songwriting became more vocally driven, and really gave us an outlet for everyday hopes, dreams, problems, and fears. We don't write to a certain style of music, we don't mind the idea of writing in a "pop" structured fashion, we simply write songs that make the two of us look at eachother and say... "that is sick!". You can't ask for more in a creative situation than two close friends who share the same views on life, music, and everything in between, and who compliment eachother musically almost to a psychic degree. We support any band that makes music for what we consider to be the right reasons, and thank and respect bands that have let one or both of us be a part of them...Blacklight, Victory Within, Cryptkicker, and of course the band Brandon is currently also playing with, them crazy boys of PSYCHO FREAK.Cheers to all you guys and good friends who have helped us out musically and morally. So what is The Hey Peets..........a way for two semi-sane bros to deal with the world..... AND HAVE A GOOD TIME DOIN IT! We hope you dig the music.
