ALD 2008 is coming Sunday May, 25th.
This dynamic event which is being sponsored by the African People's Socialist Party (APSP).
The main presentation of this event is a Symposium on the Issue of Barack Obama which has been a highly debated issue with contradictions that deepened as Omali Yeshitela released a presentation on what Barack Obama means to African People on YouTube.
This video received thousands of hits (look in movie section for Youtube video). So the APSP took on the responsibility of creating a symposium with a number of speakers from different organizations putting out their position on the electoral process and Barcak Obama, which will bring clarity to the entire issue of whether or not Barack Obama is truly Black Power.
The event will also host a number of other speakers on different issues and cultural performances. (The Program is to be Released Soon)
