Grape Juice & Brews
Like my mom, my body possesses the uncanny ability to soak up alcohol, lots and lots of it. Thanks ma! :)
I like the taste and smell of wine and therefore enjoy consuming it. I make it a case to visit Napa Valley or Sonoma at least once a year for cleansing the palate of course.
Over the years, I have also grown to really enjoy a few good beers. New Castle and Fat Tire being two of my favs.
Pumping Iron
Oh so good to feel the "pump", feeling as if one's invincible, feeling as if one was the Incredible Hulk. Working out is every bit mental as it is physical. I welcome the challenge, the discipline, the sense of accomplishment as well as for the physical health and appearance.
I have unfortunately been stricken with a tough shoulder injury (rotator cuff ... ouch!) in the past years. The only viable remedy was time off from the weights and so that was. At last I'm ready to get back into it again and regain old form. So far so good, the shoulder's holding up well. *figers crossed* I'll be sure to keep a progress report.
update early 2006: injured right shoulder yet again just as I was on a roll. Damn it! :(
update July 2007: attempting to resume the old regiment ... am proceeding with extreme care and caution.
Gasoline Alley
I'm passionate about automobiles - the engineering, the art, the legacy and the sport. Naturally Formula-One is at the top of the chart and the inspiration for my becoming an engineer. The F-1 world is far from the "Fast and The Furious" affair that is the pop culture today. The two cultures are quite different indeed, with the latter being more show than go. ;)
On my spare time, I'm also a race instructor for various sports car clubs and high performance driving venues. Naturally I track my car year round as one of my many hobbies.
Mastering the art of car control demands skill, reflex, time and understanding of fundamental physics.
Give a holler if you'd like to take a ride along sometimes. Barfy bags not included! :D
See you at the track.
The Flying Experience
No longer is one bounded to the two-dimensional space. That's three-dimensional to you baby! The freedom to accent and decent rapidly is one that words cannot describe and only birds can relate. The view is most breath taking and as far as the eyes can see.
Next is sky diving. This is as close to being the Superman experience one gets - flying like a bird. Okay you'd technically be falling, but I say "flying" towards the ground.
Folks I highly recommend trying this at least once in your lifetime. Just do it! ;)
Ladies
Well ... do I really have to explain this one?
Luv em!!!

YOU! ... I'd love to meet you. :)
Do at least drop me a quick line or two, or I'm going to assume you're just another spamming whore.
