ANDREW YORK (American guitarist and composer).• The performance of Ernesto Hernández Lunagómez as a guitarist is a potent one; there exists volume and clarity in his sound. His musical ideas, phrases and dynamics are perfectly developed, all that in total coherence.
GERARDO TAMÉZ (Mexican guitarist and composer)• The music of Ernesto Lunagomez, contains a guitar language suitable to artistically move to the listener. His music deserves to be in the universal repertory of guitar.
MANUEL RUBIO (Mexican guitarist, December. 2005).• I have had the opportunity to know and observe from close the artistic work of Mr. Ernesto Lunagomez, which has given me enough elements to establish an opinion about his job and being able to express my admiration for his talent. Same that places him as one of the youngest gifted musicians of his generation.
I have no wonder the artistic Mexican community is enriched with the presence of such gifted young artists like Mr. Lunagomez.
ROBERTO AGUIRRE (Mexican Guitarist and professor of university of Veracruz).• Ernesto has personality, the technique, and the musical skill required to play the music of century XX and XXI.
MAURICIO HERNÃNDEZ (Mexican guitarist )
• I think Ernesto Hernández Lunagómez is an excellent interpreter of contemporary music. Listening to his music coming out from his expressive and skilled hands, one can listen to a beautiful literary tale.
FRANCISCO GONZÃLEZ CHRISTEN (Mexican composer).• About the performance of the guitars assemble of HEXAFONÃA in the contest of Temascalapa. Mex. I can say, I have personally noticed on the assemble a great cohesion, unity, a projection of a solid conviction; and exuberance and authority of his director Ernesto Lunagómez. Also I have observed a deep mental and musical discipline and preparation in all its integrants. The repertory that they performed is one of high difficulty due to its intricate rhythm of its counterpoint and richness of tune.
