About Me
..My name is Josias Franco.I was born in Rio de Janeiro -
( Brasil ).I am a trumpet player.My first teacher was my brother Josué Franco after a few years i studied trumpet in the Technical music school of the federal university Rio de Janeiro. After the studies I worked with the Big Band UFRJAZZ and Orchester UNIG, Comunidade Ev. da Zona Sul and others different Bands.
2000 I did a tour with the TPJ Soul Band in the USA, Florida. After the tour i played with Sen Limite (Salsa Band).
2003 I began play with various projects like:
Funk..in Lata, Jerson King Combo,Marcelo Marano, Salsa Klave,Café Pingado(instrumental Funk, jazz),Club Rio Sampa.
Musical "Show Brasil Copacabana", Sebastian Bach(Man Propaganda from C&A Brasil),TV Serial,Casseta & Planeta e Turma do DIDI (TV Globo).
2004 Show Musical in Tropical Islands Resort in Brandenburg,Germany
Musical "Viva Brasil"(Choreographer Jayme Arouxa), Record a Christmas CD(A Very Special Lipske Christmas), Film Festival in Cottbus,Germany (Combo Jazz)
2005 in Brasil Club Olimpo Show,( RJ )
2006 Clubs in Rio :West Show, Cerva Show, Nova Show.
2006 i did a tour with Terra Latina "Brasil Tropical" in Netherlands and Belgium.
After the tour i came back to Germany (Berlin). Since then I have become more connected in berlin..s scene and that’s also where I’ve been living now.
Now i play(ed) with various projects like:
Modern East Big Band, Jack and Soulrippers, Renato Pantera (Samba Soul Band),Matutaia Samba Band,Orazio Di Gaudio Singer (Italian Band),Enrico Perèz Salsa Band,Salsa en Clave, Rio Swing Brasil.GOD BLESS YOU !!!!!
