George Farmer is a man who is motivated by his past and present experiences to Inform More People About Christ Today, hence the name I.M.P.A.C.T. Born in New Jersey, as the youngest of four children I.M.P.A.C.T. had to learn how to defend himself early on in life. As a teen he was influenced by the street lifestyle and did everything in his ability to live this lifestyle out. Never thinking about Christ he was living a life that totally went against the word of God. When I.M.P.A.C.T. was introduced to rap at an early age by his brother-in-law, he began to write his own rhymes, but these were rhymes that were not used to glorify God. “Life was great I felt like I was on top of the world, I mean I had a nice car, money, and kicking it wit a couple of girls. What more could a 17-18 year old ask for†said I.M.P.A.C.T. in a recent interview. Little did he know that things would begin to change quickly. Many trials would affect the rest of his life; from a bad relationship, to alcoholism, drugs, depression, suicidal thoughts, and sudden deaths of his aunt and uncle which were only a few months apart. These events led I.M.P.A.C.T. to say enough is enough. “I remember I was in my room drinking and listening to a Tupac CD and I thought to myself this isn’t me, I can’t do it on my own and that’s when I laid in my bed that night and cried to God and asked him for his helpâ€. Instantly life changed for him, I.M.P.A.C.T. got introduced to a church and made a commitment to attend where he is a faithful member to this day. “When I got saved I put the pen down and stopped rapping, I mean all the gospel rap that I heard at that point was watered downâ€. That was until he heard a Cross Movement CD. Up until that point he had never heard the Word put in rhymes in such a way that was challenging and that confronted the listener to make a decision of who they would serve. Excited and inspired I.M.P.A.C.T. hooked up with some brothers in Christ at his church who had a record label called Dominion Records. Dominion released its first compilation CD entitled “Walk With Me†in which I.M.P.A.C.T featured on. This album took off faster then the label ever thought. Through “Walk With Me†I.M.P.A.C.T. had the privilege to minister along side of many Artists just to name a few: Twyse, Dezzie, Four:13, and Prayz 1. After years of studying and honing the gift, I.M.P.A.C.T. leads believers and unbelievers on a journey to examine various current issues with the understanding that God has called us into his kingdom with his first solo album, “Such a Time as Thisâ€.Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com!
