I once met Gene Anthony Ray and hyperventilated as I was so excited. He was off his face and we spent the afternoon singing obscure 'Fame' song like 'Come What May' and 'I Was Only Trying To Help'. He called our mum and sang down to the phone to her. He rocked but he's dead now :-C
