______________________________________________________
..I'm finally getting settled in North Carolina. We just moved into our house. Yippee, this is the first time we've ever owned. Joel loves his job with Lowe's and I'm really getting the hang of this mommy thing. We love watching our beautiful daughter Avery grow and boy is she growing! It is a little bitter sweet being here because we miss our friends but we're starting to like it here a lot. For those of you who want to visit we have a very nice guest bedroom, hint, hint!Miss Avery Olivia Bullock entered the world at 4:41 am on Friday, May 18th. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 21 inches long!!! We are so excited to be parents and I love being a mommy. She is the most precious baby and I love her with all my heart. Stay tuned for pictures and updates, because I'm crazy with those. I'm married to the best hubby in the world for over 2 years now. I am an Aunt x 2, plus I have a fun little sister, although she is growing up so fast, she's now in the double digit ages. We are very blessed to have great people in our lives. I miss my Hams and we'll even add David-D in there!!!! Hamunion Sept '07. To all my Houghton friends I miss you dearly too. It will never be the same. All my Virginia friends who I have to leave, I love you very much, but hope to visit soon. I do miss Wellsville once and a while, but I think for the most part it's because my family is up there!!!I'd love to reconnect with people from high school or college. If you're in the North Carolina area that's even better. Any new or pro mommies with advice I'd love to chat too, I think it's so easy to bond over being a mom because it's like nothing you'll ever experience.Jenn and Joel - 2 years and counting

My Interests

Hmmm I have a lot of interests. Right now everything is babies, books, tv shows, you name it. Thanks to Blockbuster .., we are watching tons of movies. I try my hardest to keep in touch with high school and college friends especially. Most days, if it hasn't been a long day at work I like cooking meals for my hubby. I've been visiting my family in New York at least 3-4 times a year, however with Avery now it's a little less, plus the move added 6 more driving hours. Reading, I usually stick to magazines. I really miss game nights, who knows maybe we can have a NC game night...

I'd like to meet:

Create your own Friend Quiz hereJesus in person, hello, do I need to explain this one?? My future children, just to see what they will be like and how they will grow up. My husband during his college years. And people I went to school with because I'm sure some of you have changed, and if not God help us all!! On a flakier note Adam Sandler would be cool too.

Music:

My commute is non-existant because I'm with Avery. I sing a lot of songs to her, not necessarily in tune, but she doesn't seem to mind yet. We listen to a lot of Classical and some baby lullabys. I know it's a little crazy but it works. In general, I used stick to the hip hop, and pop stuff, although I feel old saying this, but music just isn't as good as it used to be :) My CD collection is anywhere from Classical to Country to hip hop.

Movies:

Where do I begin??? "The Best of..." any SNL for a little humor. I have most of Adam Sandler's movies. I love horror flicks, good ones only, not really cheesy ones. I like sappy chick flicks too like "StepMom", "Pretty Woman", "Dirty Dancing", I mean can you blame me? I watch action and drama with Joel but there are some movies I just do not like.....mostly the earlier Spike Lee movies. Sorry folks too much for me to handle. Lately we haven't really been out to the movies, just ordering the older ones through blockbuster online.

Television:

Right now I'm watching a variety of things, I love reality tv, that is one of my biggest vices, but I finally weaned myself off of the Real World, some people will be excited. I'm also into The Amazing Race, Heros, Kid Nation, Ghost Hunters, America's Next Top Model, SNL and Mad TV. Did I tell you that I love our DVR, especially now that we are parents of a little one.

Books:

The Bible, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lord of the Rings, InStyle Magazine, Parenting.

Heroes:

MY HUSBAND, he has so much love for me and our daughter and has an amazing passion for life. I love that he is nostalgic and he really gets into his work. He really is an inspiration and a great guy. I'm very lucky and he's a great daddy too!JESUS CHRIST of course, do I need to say more?MY MOMMA, she raised two kids and is raising one more all on her own. Now that I am a mommy I can't imagine doing it alone, it's hard enough with the help of a loving spouse. She's a toughie. She has taught me so much, how to be independent, how much another person can love someone else no matter what, and most of all how much parents give up things for their kids happiness. She has always accepted me and the things I have striven for in life. I hope that someday she can truly be happy too. Thanks mom!PROFESSORS AT HOUGHTON, for teaching and encorporating our faith, making classes fun yet challenging and most importantly being a teacher and a friend. There are so many good people at Houghton, I was honored to be able to go to school there.MY HAMMY GIRLS! Wow! They taught me what true friendships are, no matter which state you live in, how often you talk or see each other you're still there for one another and still in each others thoughts, prayers and hearts. I truly share a bond with these chicas that I had never known before them and have so many good memories to reflect on. I heart you!
