ALTERNATIVE HARDROCK BLUES is the best way to describe the sound of Hillbilly Prophet. The subject matter of lyrics and stories in the songs isn’t your everyday stuff that most people sing about, these songs are darker but with hope and meant to wake up the world, and make you think. Over the years, all the members of Hillbilly Prophet are longtime seasoned artist’s that play music cause they love it. and that’s what they have done all their lives. It’s who they are .Tripp has been in many bands in this life, and shared the stage with many stars and great musicians including, Johnny Winter, Ray Manzarek, Alice In Chains, Randy Castillo, Santana, and The B-52’s just to mention a few.
Hillbilly Prophet is a long winding road of life stories and experience from the past, present, and future guided by the beacon of ROCK N ROLL. Tripp wrote the first Hillbilly Prophet songs in 1998, and always being ahead of his time, these songs have just now been recorded in 2007 for the debut album release of “ Realign the lines “ out now worldwide on itunes, ebay, amazon and many more outlets.The main idea and concept is to be different and original, unlike anything else, in music and lyric. Not an easy task, but mixing blues, hardrock, and a little punk, Hillbilly Prophet has become the alternative hardrock blues band to see and hear.
