About Me

I am a bleeding heart liberal, always have been and always will be, and thankfully my parents were not limited by the prejudices surrounding them, and raised my brother and I to be color blind but cognizant of those less fortunate than us. I have to say, however, that now that I am a mommy, the plant in little shop had it right.I have a frightfully good memory (trust me it is a curse at times) that is already showing itself in my babies (kids do say the darndest things Tam!). I treasure loyalty to and from loved ones, and devotion to truth that doesn't change with moods, weather or health.I love silly named 70s songs and mid 80s dance songs that take me back to nightclubs of the past (forgotten by most I hope)and remind me instantly what it felt like to be half the age I am now.Finally, I am most proud of the drunk whisper who has become such an integral part of my babies' lives, and my bonus daughter, Megan, who is turning into such a remarkable young woman with the world opening up wide in front of her to do and become all that she wants.
