About Me

The World Sacred Music Festival is a celebration of the sacred through the uplifting music & dance of the world. Held annually in Olympia, Washington State, USA, the festival features artists from diverse spiritual paths sharing their music, dance, and visual art through performances, workshops and displays.
For complete Festival info, see www.olysacredmusic.org
If you're an artist interested in performing at the festival, sign up for the WSMF artists' email list
If you're a music fan interested in attending the festival, sign up for the WSMF email list
(We will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your email address. Emails average once a month or less.)
The festival is sponsored by interfaith Works, a group made up of representatives from diverse faith communities. www.interfaith-works.org
The festival was inspired in part by these words of His Holiness The Dalai Lama in his 1999 call for sacred music festivals to celebrate the new millennium:
"Among the many forms in which the human spirit has tried to express its innermost yearnings and perceptions, music is perhaps the most universal. There is something in music that transcends and unites. This is evident in the sacred music of every community... music that expresses the universal yearning that is shared by people all over the globe."

My Interests
