Hi, I'm Luke Womac. I live on a farm in a small town in East Tennessee, at the foot of the Smokey Mountains.
I enjoy country and christian music, playing basketball, deer hunting and riding horses. Most of all I just enjoy being a kid. I started taking my music seriously when I entered my first school competition, where I won the state title at 11 years old.
I like the old time favorites by Johnny Cash and Charlie Pride.(Which by the way are my favorites) I love singing their songs for my family at our family dinners. My family is my practice audience, from there I have sung at church,fairs and other functions. I have won some talent contest which were a lot of fun to do.
I seem to captivate people of all ages with the old time favorites and the ballads I do such as Vince Gill's, "Go Rest High On That Mountain". I just enjoy singing and making people smile.
I recorded my first single in 2008 to be released to the radio, "Family Tree". I feel that it is an energetic song that tells about how we fall once in a while, but God will forgive us because of his Son dieing on the cross for our family.
