Bishop Blaise is a fabulous venue in the center of derby which, every week, fills with derby's best musicians and generally all round lovely people. The night has a lovely vibe and we always love to meet new people. Come alone and play a few tunes or just come and have a listen.
Just to clarify: You can pre-book if you want to know what time you're going to play but it's not manditory, you can still just turn up and play, there's always time for everyone and you can bring what you want, i have a house guitar which you may use, don't bring a drumkit but percussion is alright, my general philosophy is that if you're desperate enough for gigs that you would bring a drumkit to an open mic maybe you think twice about quitting your day job
