Ilerion started in the summer of 2006 with the name "Pinducks". Jorg and Maxime wanted to start a band. As Jorg could already play the drums, Maxime bought a guitar and invited Tristan to join them.
The two guitar-players couldn't play one single note before they started playing their six-strings.
After a year of rehearsing intensively, Pinducks played their first gig in their hometown Kemmel, playing mainly covers.
2008 brought a whole new dimension to our music; we started to write our own songs and decided to switch the genre of our music. Moreover, Nils joined the band and Pinducks changed its name into Ilerion.
Summer 2008, Another hairy bastard named Thijs (vocals) joined the band.
And finally in October 2008, Brambo (bass) , the man we all respect, completed our line-up. In November, the band made the descision to listen to the comments of the fans and left Nils behind (in the band, not as friend!). Although he regrets this fact, he understands and will still remain friends and make the audience move on our gigs, he's still the little active motherfucker (so he says himself). For the moment we're working on new songs and kick more ass every time!
