About Me

I was born and raised on the North Shore on the island of O'ahu. Attended Kamehameha Schools where I learned how to play 'ukulele, guitar and bass (I had no choice, gotta keep up with the rest of the students!). Anyhow, I wasn't the best 'ukulele player in school, but I did hang around the best players and learned from them.
Formed a group called "Acoustic Soul" with Dr. Robb Shibayama and we were featured on a Christmas compilation album called "Christmas By The Sea" (our song being the title track). While attending college at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, we opened for bands such as Ho'onu'a and the Brother's Cazimero.
Our debut CD "Chapter One" was released April 2002, while I was in Chiropractic School. We developed quite a following in our short promotion period (2 weeks during my break). Our song "I've Got 2B w/U" made it on the top 5 at 5 on FM 100. We even made a music video that was featured on the Overdrive Live DVD 1.
After the release of "Chapter One" one of the 'ukulele instruments got noticed and was selected to be on the "Legends of the 'Ukulele" compilation album. The song is "Gypsy 'Ukulele" which is a song that Robb and I wrote while in college for a talent competition.
Currently I am a practicing Chiropractic Physician with my office in Irvine, CA. Don't worry, I'll be back home soon, with music to follow. For now, please enjoy my recordings.

Finished setting up home studio

So I finally finished assembling/connecting all my studio equipment for my home studio. I never imagined that I would have so many cables running around. Takes some thinking to not turn it into a me...
