About Me

It was during college in Florida that Brian Washburn began writing songs and playing in the band "The Bridge Street Kings". After graduation, Brian decided to move to a larger city with a thriving original music scene - Boston, Massachusetts, where he played in "Me & the Boys" and "The Brian Washburn Band". These bands opened for national acts such as The Romantics, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. The Georgia Satellites, The Radiators as well as Pat Travers, and Extreme. "Me & the Boys" and "The Brian Washburn Band" also headlined their own show in the regions smaller venues/clubs and had airplay on Boston area radio stations WFNX, WBCN, WAAF, WCGY and college radio. After the dissolution of "The Brian Washburn Band", Brian continued to work as a singer songwriter in the acoustic scene and opened for legendary musician John Sebastian of "The Lovin' Spoonful". Teaming with his good friend and amazing guitar player, Joe Feloni (Me & the Boys, Brian Washburn Band), Brian and Joe formed "Old Dogs, New Tricks", an acoustic rock duo that gigged and recorded music until Brian decided to move back to Florida. Brian now plays with two buddies, Sean Sacco and Glenn Brown in an acoustic trio playing classic rock and original music in Florida, where it all began years ago in "The Bridge Street Kings".
